Once the family home of prominent Brisbane architect Sir Walter Taylor, Glenrae has been converted into a contemporary home that celebrates its rich history while providing a sustainable long-term future. The architecture is defined by a series of pavilions and curated courtyards and mediates between light and heavy transitioning across the various defining thresholds. With a balanced palette of stone and timber the spaces have a strong connection of new and old and an organic flow of inside to outside spaces.
